Comments by Jim Cotton:

Jim Cotton addressed the RTC concerning the contested Board of Finance race.

Minutes:

The minutes of the July 18, 2007 meeting were approved unanimously.

Treasurers Report:

The Treasurer's Report was not yet available.

Vacancy Committee:

Gerry Casiello, Chairman of the Vacancy Committee, announced that the committee recommended that Laura Hoeing be selected as a full member of the RTC. Mr. Casiello moved the nomination, and it was seconded by Natalie Ketcham. Per the RTC by-laws, the vote to on the motion will be held at the next regular meeting of the RTC.

Campaign 2007:

The RTC discussed strategy for the fall campaign.

Fundraising:

The RTC discussed fundraising efforts, including a fundraising letter, for the fall campaign.

Pig Roast:

This year's Pig Roast will be in honor of Jim and Andrea Cotton. It will be held at the Redding Boys and Girl's Club on September 30. The necessary town approvals and permits have been secured.
