Guests: Chris Hocker, Melanie O'Brien, and Pat Rist and Carol Berk from the Bethel RTC. The meeting was called to order at 8 PM.

Ward Mazzucco asked Jerry Sarnelli to serve as Acting Secretary, in the absence of Michael Thompson.

The minutes, as amended, were unanimously approved.

The Treasurer's report was unanimously approved. There was a general discussion of the fund-raising letter.

Plans for the Pig Roast on October 5, 2008, were further discussed.

Melanie O'Brien reported on issues arising in her campaign. She also outlined steps she'd like to take to meet more voters in the district.

Chris Hocker reported on developments with the Region 9 Board of Education.

Zach Eastright reported on events in the Shays campaign.

Toni Boucher gave an update on her campaign.

The meeting was unanimously adjourned.
