Minutes. The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm.

Motion to approve the minutes of June 6, 2005 was made by Julian Kien and seconded by Don Stroetzel. Passed unanimously.

Treasurer's Report. Gary Miyashiro gave the Treasurer's Report. Our mailing raised $2,335.00 to date and checks are still being received. Frank DeSalvo made a motion to approve the Treasurer's Report, seconded by Joan DeSalvo. Passed unanimously.

Gerry Casiello made a motion to recommend Jess Gaspar as our endorsed candidate for the Redding Board of Education. Motion seconded by Don Stroetzel. Motion passed unanimously.

Christine Polio and Tom Derderian discussed the upcoming pig roast. It was decided that Christine and Tom should pull this together and make whatever decisions are necessary regarding date, pricing, etc.

Christine Polio introduced the slate of candidates and made a motion that we adopt the slate. Julian Kien seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

Our next meeting is currently scheduled for September 12th.

Republican Caucus July 21, 2005

The caucus was called to order at 8:02 pm by temporary Chairman Ward Mazzucco. Andrea Cotton was appointed Temporary Secretary and read the call of the meeting. Ward Mazzucco appointed a rules committee. The rules committee met and reported on the rules.

Ward Mazzucco was elected permanent chairman and Andrea Cotton was elected permanent secretary.

Christine Polio nominated the RTC endorsed slate of candidates. Frank DeSalvo seconded the motion. There were no other nominations. The endorsed slate was elected unanimously.

The caucus adjourned at 8:15 pm.
