Ward Mazzucco called the meeting to order at 8 PM. There was a moment of silence to honor those killed in the attacks five years before.

Minutes of the August meeting were unanimously approved.

The Treasurer's report was unanimously approved.

The fund-raising letter was discussed. Ward Mazzucco thanked Christine Kearney and Tom Derderian for their efforts.

Christine Polio reported on plans for the Pig Roast.

Christine also reported on fund-raisers for Judi Freedman's campaign.

There was a discussion of candidates for the Region 9 race next year and for the RTC, in light of the resignation of Virginia Connolly.

Urs Furrer reminded everyone about donations for the troops in Iraq.

Natalie Ketcham reported on matters of local concern.

Ward Mazzucco reported on his visit with the Easton RTC, at the invitation of chairman, Hugh Barry. Hugh will visit our RTC at a future meeting.

Ward also reviewed the results of the 26th District Report, in the absence of Gian-Carlo Peressutti.

The RTC went into executive session to receive a campaign report from Lewis Brey, Tom Derderian, and Jerry Sarnelli. Funding for the campaign plan was unanimously approved, subject to later monitoring by Gary Miyashiro, the Treasurer.

Tom Derderian gave a report on the Shays campaign, and David Lewson gave a report on the Gallagher campaign.

Ward discussed moving the next meeting from October 16 to October 10.

A motion to adjourn was unanimously approved.
