The purposes and functions of the Republican Town Committee are:
* to encourage able Republicans to run for office.
* to conduct and participate in party caucuses and/or conventions.
* to organize and direct general and special election campaigns.
* to support and elect Republicans to office.
* to study and recommend able and qualified Republicans for elective
and appointive office.
* to study and support or oppose state legislation concerning Redding
.
* to study and recommend improvements in local government.
* to sponsor and encourage instructive party activities.
* to generate, administer and distribute party funds.
* to submit the required periodic reports to the State Elections Commission
through the Office
of the Secretary of the State and the state party headquarters.
