(Redding, March 4) In it's meeting on Monday evening, The Redding Republican Town Committee elected officers for the next two-year term.

Ward Mazzucco, the current Chairman, was re-elected to that position for his third full term; Lewis Brey was re-elected Vice Chairman; Michael Thompson was re-elected Secretary; and Gary Miyashiro was re-elected Treasurer. Also announced in the meeting was the appointment of the following RTC Committee chairman: Tom Derderian, Publicity; Lewis Brey, Campaign; Scott Palmer, Events; Julie Gorman and Laura Hoeing, Vacancy.

Re-elected Chairman, Ward Mazzuco, said, "I'm thankful for the opportunity to continue chairing the Republican Town Committee. It's especially gratifying to be working with such an energetic and capable group of officers, committee chairs and members. We are looking forward to an active year ahead, with particular focus on supporting our candidates in the fall election."

The Republican Town Committee meets monthly, generally the first Monday of each month, at 8PM at Town Hall. Anyone interested in membership is encouraged to contact one of the Vacancy Committee co-chairs, Julie Gorman (938-8826) or Laura Hoeing (938-3134).
